USF A-284OH is a strong base Type I gel anion resin consisting of a styrene divinylbenzene matrix supplied in the hydroxide form. The general appearance is a hard spherical bead which is amber in color. This resin has the ability to remove anions and weak acids from aqueous solutions, such as carbonic and silicic acids. This resin is particularly well-suited for low silica effluent requirements.
