ResinTech MBD-ULTRA Mixed Bed Resin, Semiconductor Grade - Low TOC, 1 Cubic Foot
ResinTech MBD-ULTRA utilizes a highly regenerated cation component paired with an ultra-low TOC highly regenerated anion component. MBD-ULTRA is intended for use in the highest purity applications where extremely high quality and low TOC are needed. ResinTech MBD-ULTRA is supplied ready to use with the cation component in the hydrogen form and the anion component in the hydroxide form.
Features & Benefits
- Rapid Rinse To Quality: Nearly instant rinse up to 18 MegOhms resistivity and rinse down to less than 1 ppb TOC (above blank) in under 100 bed volumes of startup rinse.
- Certified Performance Testing: Each production batch available with Certificate of Analysis showing TOC rinse down, resistivity rinse to 18 Megohm quality and response to kinetic challenge.
- Cation And Anion Components Available Separately: Both components are available separately for use in custom mixes
- Special Packaging Available To Extend Shelf Life: Gas barrier drum liners are available to prevent air from contacting the resin, greatly increasing the shelf life.
Applications:
- Ultrapure Water: ResinTech MBD-ULTRA is a mixed bed ion exchange resin that has been optimized in every aspect to produce the highest possible water quality. The cation and the anion components are very highly regenerated and then post-treated using a proprietary process to remove traces of TOC leachable and other undesirable contaminants. The use of black cation resin with uniform bead size along with a slightly smaller anion bead size, helps produce a sharp separation that is easy to see, greatly simplifying the regeneration process. MBD-ULTRA cab be used once in ultra pure polishing loops and then re-used in lower grade PEDI applications or can be supplied as separate components to match the location of fixed place distributors in systems that have in place regeneration.
