ResinTech MBD-16-SC Mixed Bed Resin, Semiconductor Grade, 1 Cubic Foot
ResinTech MBD-16-SC is made with dark colored 10% cross linked cation component designed to separate perfectly from the lighter anion component. MBD-16 is intended for use in all mixed beds where the added density of a 10% cross linked cation resin is desired to help improve separation. ResinTech MBD-16-SC is supplied ready to use with the cation component in the hydrogen form and the anion component in the hydroxide form.

Applications:
- Portable Exchange Deionization (PEDI): ResinTech MBD-16 can be used in almost all PEDI applications to remove bulk TDS from raw waters or to remove trace levels of TDS following reverse osmosis or other membrane processes. The mixed resin can be separated into its components, CG10-H-BL and SBG1, for regeneration, and reused hundreds of thousands of times. The use of the more dense CG10-H-BL cation component in MBD-16 allows for more efficient resin separation compared to MBD-10 or MBD-15. The cation component, CG10-H-BL, is black in color and provides optimized color difference from SBG1-OH. This color difference is very helpful to verify resin separation ahead of the regeneration process.
