The Pentek DGD-5005-20 is a dual micron rated 20" big blue filter. The outer portion of the filter is rated at 50 microns and the inner portion of the filter is rated at 5 microns. This advanced design combines selective final filtration with appropriate pre-filtration all in the same filter to achieve up to three times the dirt-holding capacity of similar sized sediment cartridges.
Being that the DGD Series cartridges manufactured from 100% pure polypropylene, they are designed for purity and will not impart taste, odor or color to the liquid being filtered. This polypropylene construction provides superior chemical resistance and is not prone to bacterial attack.
The DGD series of filters is an excellent choice for all residential, rural, municipal and commercial applications.
