Overview: The Progard® XL-S pretreatment pack pretreats water by removing large particles, organic compounds, and free chlorine from tap water. This pack optimizes system lifetime and performance by protecting the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane against mineral scaling, organic fouling, and chlorine oxidation. The pack includes polyphosphates, silver-impregnated activated carbon, and depth filtration for water pretreatment. This pretreatment pack is used with larger RiOs™, Elix®, and AFS® E water purification systems.
