Ban-T, Pro-CitricAcid Resin Cleaner - 1.5 lbs
Pro-CitricAcid (Ban T) removes iron from fouled water softeners. Dissolves iron and keeps it soluble while it is flushed from the resin tank during regeneration. Also useful in the removal of water spots and rust and scale deposits. Safe and easy to use.
First Application For A Fouled Unit
Dissolve 2 cups of the powder in 1 qt. of warm water and pour it into the brine well (for softeners with no brine well, pour into the salt tank when the salt level is low). Manually regenerate the softener.
Regular/Maintenance Use
Add 1/2 cup to every 40 lbs of salt added to the brine tank and layer it to ensure a continuous dose of Ban-T during each regeneration.
