Aries FilterWorks 3300 series Phosphate cartridge contains food grade, slow melt polyphosphate that dissolves in water to inhibit scale and rust build up. This filter is used primarily where scale, corrosion, and increased amounts of iron are present in the water source.

Feature and Benefits:

Use Of  Slow Melt Polyphosphate: The phosphate cartridge features 100% slow melt NSF certified polyphosphate

- FDA Drinking Water Approved Materials Of Construction: Sonic welded construction is a solvent free method to join and assemble plastic parts, producing the highest quality safest product

Fits Standard Residential And Industrial Size Housing: AF Series cartridges are double open ended that fit standard residential and industrial housings

Oversized Cartridge For Maximum Media Fill: AF series cartridges have up to 50% higher capacity and extend cartridge life, due to the use of larger cartridges

Quality Produced And Made in The USA: Cartridges are produced by Aries FilterWorks, a division of ResinTech. Strict quality control over all aspects of cartridge and media production allows complete traceability of every filter

Applications:

Commercial Use: Effectively reduces scale by separating hardness so they cannot precipitate and form deposits when heated. These cartridges are used with many commercial grade coffee and tea brewing machines, ice makers, beverage dispensing equipment and water misters.

Residential Use: As part of a water treatment system, phosphate cartridges are used to maintain distribution systems. The corrosive properties of water can be attributed to low pH; high temperature and total dissolved solids. Phosphates are used in water treatment to sequester inorganic contaminants (iron, manganese, calcium, etc) and to maintain water quality.

- Pre-Treatment To Reverse Osmosis (RO): Provides protection by removing contaminants such as chlorine, organic, and binds hardness that can foul RO membranes, this reducing the efficiency of the membrane.
